Unfollowtracker helps users analyze Instagram follower and following data using public profile information and filtered files from Instagram data exports that users choose to process.
Unfollowtracker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create or use an account, we may collect information such as your email address, user ID, login status, subscription status, and account preferences.
Instagram Data Export Processing
When you select an Instagram data export .zip file, your browser opens and filters the archive locally before any data is transmitted to Unfollowtracker. The original ZIP file is never uploaded to our servers.
Your browser creates a smaller, filtered archive containing only the files selected for account identification and follower and following relationship analysis.
Direct messages and content outside this filtered set, including post photos and videos, are excluded in your browser and are not sent to our servers.
We process the filtered archive to generate follower, following, unfollower, new follower, and relationship-change reports. The filtered source archive is deleted after processing. We retain only the necessary parsed relationship results and generated reports needed to provide the service.
Reports and History
We may store generated reports, upload timestamps, connected Instagram account identifiers, comparison results, and report history so you can view previous results and compare changes over time.
Usage and Device Information
We may collect basic usage and technical information, such as page views, button clicks, upload status, error codes, device type, browser type, operating system, language, session identifiers, IP address, referral channel, and approximate region.
We use this information to operate, secure, improve, and troubleshoot Unfollowtracker.
Payment Information
When you purchase a paid feature or subscription, your payment is processed by a third-party payment provider, such as Stripe or Airwallex, depending on availability and the payment method you select. Available payment methods may include payment cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
The payment provider may collect and process payment method details, billing information, transaction information, and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy policy.
Unfollowtracker may receive and retain limited payment-related records, such as the order number, purchased product, price and currency, payment status, payment provider, transaction identifier, subscription status, and relevant timestamps. We use these records to activate paid access, provide customer support, prevent fraud, and handle cancellations or refunds.
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers. Payment card details are handled directly by the payment provider through its secure payment components.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- provide follower and relationship analysis features;
- generate and save reports;
- compare multiple Instagram exports over time;
- maintain your account, login session, and product access status;
- process filtered archives and detect invalid or mismatched files;
- provide customer support;
- improve product performance, reliability, and user experience;
- prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and technical issues;
- comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
Local Storage, Cookies, and Similar Technologies
Because Unfollowtracker is an H5 product, we may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain product state, support security, and improve service reliability.
You may clear cookies or local storage through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly afterward.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party service providers where necessary to operate Unfollowtracker. These providers include Firebase Analytics for product usage analytics and Stripe or Airwallex for payment processing. Depending on the payment method you choose, Apple Pay or Google Pay may also process payment-related information.
These providers may process limited account, device, usage, transaction, or payment information only as needed to provide their services to us and are subject to their own privacy policies.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information only when necessary to:
- allow service providers to perform analytics, payment processing, security, infrastructure, or customer support functions on our behalf;

The original Instagram ZIP file selected on your device is not uploaded to or stored by Unfollowtracker.
The filtered source archive sent for relationship analysis is deleted after processing.
Necessary parsed relationship results and generated reports may be retained while your account remains active so you can access report history and compare future exports.
If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, parsed results, and generated reports within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution needs.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information through the contact or feedback channel inside Unfollowtracker.
We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by Unfollowtracker. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Unfollowtracker is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us through the in-product contact channel, and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Third-Party Platforms
